Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an Experienced Electrical Engineer with our EPC Group.
Responsibilities Include
Designing low- and medium-voltage power systems,
Designing lighting and associated control systems
Designing fire alarm and mass notification systems
Preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction
Performing periodic construction site visits
Mentoring less experienced staff
Assisting with business development activities
Some travel is required.
The Successful Candidate Must Possess All Of The Following
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis from an accredited college or university.
At least four years of relevant experience
PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following
Experience with electrical design of buildings including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm and mass notification systems.
Experience with 3D building modeling (Revit preferred); experience with lighting design software (AGI32 preferred), power design software (SKM Power Tools and/or EasyPower preferred).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Ability to prepare construction documents.
Experience coordinating engineering documentation.
Knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to building design and construction.
