Position Overview The Business Development Manager for Arizona & Nevada will drive growth for AIMS Companies by building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry. This includes general contractors, owners, and subcontractors, with the goal of identifying and securing new business opportunities and expanding AIMS Companies\' market presence in Arizona and Nevada through strategic sales and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Market Intelligence: Identify new bids, RFQs, and RFPs in public and private sectors. Gather market intelligence on pricing, competitors, industry trends, and upcoming projects to position the company strategically.
New Business Development: Explore and develop new markets and service lines for Arizona and Nevada.
Bid and Proposal Support: Collaborate with branch managers and internal teams to support bid and proposal submissions that align with client expectations.
Networking and Representation: Represent AIMS Companies at industry events and networking functions, fostering relationships that lead to new business opportunities.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by uncovering new business opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships and contracts.
Reporting and Strategy: Report to the Vice President of Sales – West Business Unit with updates on progress, market trends, and competitive activity.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the construction or related industries.
Regional Knowledge: Strong network and existing relationships in Arizona and / or Nevada preferred.
Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the construction market, including bid processes, trends, and key players.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, present proposals, and build client relationships at all levels.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities with a track record of securing contracts and deals.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend events, and visit project sites.
Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
