Govsignal Founding Product Engineer Role

Overview Govsignal Founding Product Engineer Role — remote (US only). Salary: $160,000–$230,000 + equity | premium benefits | unlimited PTO. We’re looking for a full-stack Product Engineer to own and ship high-impact customer-facing features. You’ll work with TypeScript, Postgres, and Cloudflare Workers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences, leveraging AI coding tools like Cursor to move fast without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

Own key product areas, from ideation to shipping.

Collaborate with customer success to prioritize impactful work.

Rapidly iterate on UI/UX and core application components.

Build and maintain TypeScript codebases with Postgres, auth, and edge logic.

Use AI pair-programming to improve speed and code quality.

Monitor production metrics and resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

2–8 years as a full-stack product engineer in top-tier startups.

Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React/Next.js or Svelte/SvelteKit.

US citizen, US-based.

Strong product sense and eye for design.

Startup/founder or government-adjacent experience a plus.

Bonus Points

Top 20 CS degree.

Experience in high-security environments.

Work Policy

Fully remote with flexible hours.

Preference for NY/DC candidates for occasional office visits.
