The Role You’ll own the engineering initiatives that scale production and improve factory capabilities, while building and leading the Process & Equipment team. This is both strategic and hands-on—you’ll guide technical roadmap decisions, manage capital projects, and still roll up your sleeves to solve problems on the floor. What You’ll Do Build and lead a high-performing engineering team (from 3–5 to ~15). Drive process development, root cause analysis, and design-for-manufacturing excellence. Oversee major capital projects and implement scalable engineering practices. Work cross-functionally with software, production, business, and finance. Define KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure delivery of mission-critical projects. Take new processes from prototype to full-scale production. What You Bring 10+ years in aerospace or advanced manufacturing engineering. 5+ years leading teams (manager, director, or VP level). Proven record of scaling production capacity and managing capital projects. Strong knowledge of process development and automated production systems. Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or similar aerospace standards. Experience in startup or high-growth environments. Bonus Points Experience with investment casting, ceramics, or SLA printing. Set up new facilities or production lines from the ground up. Background in high-growth tech manufacturing.
