We’re working with a nationally recognized engineering firm to identify a Civil Engineer/Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for a key role supporting land development and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, and public works. This is a long-term opportunity with a collaborative team that values technical precision and professional growth.
Pay Rate: Direct Hire $32–$37/hour (based on experience)
Position Highlights:
Support site development, transportation, and utility design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Develop engineering drawings, technical calculations, and construction documentation
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external consultants throughout the design and permitting process
Gather and analyze survey data, zoning codes, and local jurisdiction requirements
Assist in preparing technical reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Attend design meetings and occasional site visits to support project execution and quality control
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or active PE license
3+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally in land development
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, and utility design
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
