Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Brief Description A Field Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day-to-day field tasks that will help with our internal documentation.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Developing detailed project plans with field leaders, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all project activities align with established goals and timelines.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate project records, including daily logs, daily work plans, progress reports (QTYS) from the field team, and as-built drawings.
Time entry into Sage: Supporting accurate time entry of hours and QTYs per task/activity/building/phase, etc.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address challenges during the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards through inspections and testing, working closely with onsite QA/QC managers.
Communication: Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
Scope Review: Understanding WGC scope of work and responsible subcontractors' SOW.
Weekly 360-degree pictures
Logging daily reports into Procore at the end of each shift
Cross-training with the PE team
Assisting with PMPO material delivery check-in process
Development of weekly progress reports on percent completes
Knowledge of WBS (work breakdown structure)
Job Qualifications
2-3 years of documented work in commercial or industrial electrical fields
Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices
Ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
NEC / Code compliance knowledge is required
