Aerospacelab
About Aerospacelab
Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.
Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2025, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 350 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Duties You integrate the Supply Chain industrialization team to ensure smooth transition between engineering team and supply chain team. Supply chain activities covers : Sourcing, Ordering, Supplier quality, Storage, Transport and scheduling.
You perform industrialization activities for current and future Aerospacelab products in order to meet defined timeline, cost, and quality requirements
You work closely with engineering team in order to integrate industrial requirements during development phases
You create and maintain in the ERP the procurement/production BOM based on the Engineering BOM
You convert engineering designs into products manufacturable in serial production
You identify dedicated toolings and processes for Aerospacelab production ramp up needs
You support supplier ramp-up and industrialization process at suppliers
You help automating current supply chain processes
You define the layout of Mega Factory to ensure smooth supply chain operation (both informatically and physically)
Procure CAPEX for supply chain in Megafactrory
You are a key contributor to the supply chain strategy of aerospacelab :
you accompany the production ramp-up from 5 satellites per year to 500 satellites per year
Based on your experience, you give feedback about part manufacturability, assembly sequence to engineering or manufacturing, as well as testing
You contribute to implement the product life cycle management at Aerospacelab.
Interactions
You are at the interface between engineering, procurement and manufacturing along with quality. You will thus work closely with designers, buyers, methods and quality engineers
You have a transverse function allowing you to be part of Aerospacelab operational strategy
Location
You are based in the HQ of Aerospacelab. Current HQ is in Louvain-la-Neuve but will be transferred to Charleroi within a few years
You are opened to travel couple of days per month
Must have
Engineering degree
Experiences (2 years) in position as industrialization engineering, manufacturing method/process engineering and/or engineering projects,
Fluent in English,
Solution oriented & agile mindset,
Autonomous & independent.
Nice to Have
Experience in automotive industry.
Knowledges in FPGA testing, embedded software programming
