Drainage Engineering (Expression of Interest) – WSP WSP seeks Drainage Engineers at all grades who specialise in Water, Drainage and Environmental Engineering for transportation infrastructure projects. Register your interest for upcoming roles across the team. We support clients and projects throughout the UK with a focus on high-profile rail, highway, Local Authority and aviation projects, providing drainage designs from concept through to detail. Responsibilities

Delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure and site development schemes. Delivery of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high technical standards, timely delivery, and commercial success. Delivering a broad range of drainage services for major transport and infrastructure projects in the UK. Senior grades may include additional responsibilities: Lead client relationships and attend client progress meetings. Manage a team of drainage engineers, supporting their technical development and ensuring project resource availability. Qualifications and Experience

Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and/or degree qualified (role dependent). Extensive post-degree experience in designing sustainable drainage solutions. Knowledge of drainage design principles for infrastructure drainage. Experience with Civil 3D and/or Causeway Flow software or MicroDrainage. Understanding of relevant technical standards, UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations. Proven ability to manage projects/programmes and teams to meet quality and commercial targets. Technical experience in one or more areas: Highway Drainage, Rail Drainage, Airport Drainage, Asset Management, Foul Water, Sustainable foul and surface water drainage design, Drainage modelling software (Causeway Flow or Microdrainage).
