Plant Engineer
Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the
Plant Engineer
will oversee plant projects from conception through design, fabrication, and commissioning. This role focuses on infrastructure upgrades and systems improvement to enhance production efficiency, quality, and capacity. The Plant Engineer also provides day-to-day engineering support to the facility and ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage capital projects that improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency in manufacturing Provide engineering oversight for facility infrastructure including boilers, HVAC, compressed air, and power systems Plan, design, and coordinate equipment modifications and maintenance in the plant Ensure plant compliance with Federal, State, and Corporate environmental regulations Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors on all environmental initiatives, including waste management, air/stormwater quality, and noise/light compliance Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop both immediate and long-term solutions Support continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving Work closely with operations and quality teams to maintain product specifications and meet production targets Identify root causes of process issues and drive corrective actions Promote and uphold company values and a culture of safety and excellence Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment Proven experience managing capital projects of $100K or more Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence change
