Position Overview The CMO Engineering Line Lead provides leadership, manufacturing support, and coordination of the engineering department for CMO line‑specific projects. This role ensures that contract projects, equipment functionality, compliance support, and capital expenditures are executed in line with company initiatives, compliance guidelines, the JHS project management system, and the capital budget schedule.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight and leadership to the engineering team within the CMO Business Unit.

Drive technical improvements and respond to equipment and facility observations.

Manage assigned capital project schedules and budgets.

Assign and oversee engineering projects, including internal capital, compliance, and contract manufacturing.

Coordinate and supervise engineering resources to ensure adequate staffing for current and upcoming projects.

Ensure equipment and infrastructure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies.

Execute high‑level projects from conception, consistent with upper‑management objectives for business growth.

Manage and execute facility and equipment updates to meet company growth and economic objectives.

Support client audits and technical visits.

Communicate project status, constraints, and potential issues to upper management.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 3 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.

Experience in facility engineering and FDA‑regulated environments.

Exposure to allergens and work in controlled areas is required.

Supervisory experience is desirable.

Proficiency with office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AutoCAD, SAP) required.

Ability to work independently without routine instructions.

Shift Weekdays Mon – Fri

Compensation & Benefits Hiring Wage: $103,050.00 – $151,100.00 annually, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
