As an
Electrical Engineer with a power systems background , you’ll perform advanced system studies, dynamic stability assessments, and planning analyses using industry-leading tools. Your work will directly support grid expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and integration of new technologies across the transmission network. Responsibilities
Conduct power system planning studies and dynamic stability assessments Develop and maintain network planning models to evaluate transmission upgrades Perform contingency and optimal power flow analyses Support compliance with NERC Reliability Standards Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience with
power flow and contingency analysis
using
Siemens PSSE Proficiency in
Python
for automation and model development Familiarity with
UPlan ,
NERC Reliability Standards , and
power system protection Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas preferred Dynamic stability analysis and composite load model development Understanding of ERCOT processes and economic transmission planning $100k - $145k base DOE + incredible benefits and career growth!
