Role Description:
Huitt-Zollars' Dallas, Texas office has a great opportunity for Licensed Landscape Architect - Project Manager with 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Landscape Architectural program. This role assists and/or leads design teams through all project phases including site analysis, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. This position works directly with discipline leads, landscape architects, engineers, architects, designers and supporting staff through the above phases of project development. Location:

Licensed Landscape Architect Education:
Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Landscape Architectural program Duties: Plan and design for a wide range of projects, such as master planned communities, amenity and recreational centers, parks, trails, streetscapes, habitat restoration, commercial buildings, schools, and industrial sites throughout the country. Prepare complete landscape plans, specifications and cost opinions. This may include dimension control, materials, grading, planting, plant lists, tree preservation, demolition, and project manual documents. Candidate must be able to work within a multi-discipline company and collaborative, project team setting. Maintaining foundational understanding of local municipal codes and regulations. Ensure proposed design solutions comply with zoning, permitting, and environmental standard throughout project lifecycle. Confer with clients, engineering, architects, and municipal staff on landscape expectations and requirements. Produce color graphic renderings of landscape designs. Present project plans or designs to clients and public stakeholders such as government agencies or community groups. Perform on-site inspections to determine opportunities and constraints. Possess detailed knowledge of plant materials, particularly planting within the DFW area. Identify and select appropriate sustainable materials for use in landscape designs. QA/QC. Meeting client vision while staying within budget for design. Key Responsibilities: Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt-Zollars' business process. Productively collaborates with others and leads or encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each other. Understands and follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives. Ensures quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations. Understands duties and responsibilities, possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills, maintains job knowledge current. Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the project team and office. Complete assignments on-time, within budget, and with highest level of quality. Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish assignments. Qualifications: Bachelor from an accredited Landscape Architectural program. Texas Licensed Landscape Architect. 4+ years of relevant experience. Proficient in AutoCAD and have entry level skills and/or interest in LandFX, Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3ds Max, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and other illustration software is required.
