Licensed Clinician - Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Beaumont Join the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach Program in Beaumont, CA to respond in-person to individuals in mental health crisis as part of a collaboration with the 988 mental health crisis hotline. The program operates 7 days a week from 7:30 pm to 8:30 am with flexible shifts. Clinicians respond on-site to crisis situations, provide crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self or others, and, as needed, gravely disabled holds. The role involves care coordination in the field and partnering with the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist, 988 call center, Riverside County Dispatch, police, sheriff, psychiatric hospitals, and ambulance services.

Responsibilities

Respond in person to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis within defined geographic regions (Desert, Mid-County, Western Regions).

Provide crisis stabilization, safety planning, and assessment for danger to self/others; initiate gravely disabled holds as needed.

Lead care coordination efforts (e.g., locating hospitals, ambulances, housing) in collaboration with the Peer Support Specialist.

Utilize the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program vehicle to respond to calls and transport as appropriate, adhering to safety standards.

Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and other community partners to ensure safe and effective crisis resolution and follow-up support.

Maintain licensure and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in a related field required.

Licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD/PhD or equivalent required; must maintain licensure as a condition of employment.

2+ years of licensure and relevant experience preferred.

Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to operate a agency vehicle and transport consumers while adhering to safety standards.

Experience with RUBHS preferred.

Ability to meet physical demands listed in the job posting and work in field settings.

Shift Schedule Wednesday – Saturday, 6:00 pm – 4:00 am

Compensation Starting pay range: $93,150 – $100,136.25 per year for full-time employment (based on experience and education).

Physical Demands

Frequent driving to various work site locations; ability to physically manage and de-escalate consumers.

Prolonged standing/walking, occasional sitting; use of upper extremities for fine motor tasks; bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, climbing.

Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; endurance for continuous mental and verbal engagement with consumers and co-workers.

Presence in the office during shifts when not in the field; ability to practice physical intervention as needed.

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and drive frequently in the community.
