Radia Oregon Radiology Medical Group seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join an Interventional Radiology team. The group is one of the nation’s largest and most progressive radiology groups, offering clinical, procedural, and hybrid patient care in a team-based, community-focused setting. The current team includes 10 Diagnostic Radiologists, 6 Interventional Radiologists, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers with opportunities for growth and expansion in neighboring communities and beyond.

Full Time

Location Rogue Valley area hospitals and clinics, including but not limited to:

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center

Providence Medford Medical Center

Oregon Interventional Radiology Clinic

Hours

Shifts are four 10-hour days

Shift times vary by location, generally starting between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time

No call

No weekends

Clinical Duties

Injection, exchange, and removal of drainage catheters (GU and GI drains)

Imaging-guided thoracentesis and paracentesis

Perform venography and assist with arteriography

PICC placement and repositioning with ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance

Placement, repositioning, and removal of tunneled and non-tunneled catheters, including implanted ports

Perform lumbar puncture and myelography under imaging guidance

Imaging-guided biopsy (including thyroid)

Imaging-guided arthrocentesis and joint injections

Placement of small bore chest tubes under imaging guidance

Supervision of conscious sedation

Evaluation and management of Interventional Radiology patients, including consultation, history and physical, and progress notes

Obtain fluoroscopic diagnostic images under the supervision of diagnostic radiologists

Education & Qualifications

Graduate degree (Master’s) in a relevant Advanced Practice field

Current Oregon license as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

Current BLS/ACLS certification

Current registries (R.T.(R) or RDMS/RVT) preferred

Current privileges to operate fluoroscopy in Oregon preferred; if not, eligibility to obtain based on duties

Maintain hospital privileges/credentialing where IR procedures are performed

CME of 100 hours every 2 years to maintain privileges

Current DEA registration

National Certification as prescribed by the NCCPA

Compensation Annual salary range:

$125,000 – $140,000 . Salary is based on experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors. Full-time status is 40 hours per week.
