Job Summary and Qualifications An Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound imaging ordered by doctors and helps with daily tasks to provide good patient care.

What You Will Do In This Role Perform various ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered by doctors.

Manage daily tasks to ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic setting.

Be able to perform both stationary and portable exams.

Accurately follow doctor's orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.

Follow correct procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.

Document patient history, including lab values, properly.

What Qualifications You Will Need Must be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

At least six months to one year of post-graduate experience is strongly preferred.

(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

(RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
