in Lake Charles, Louisiana is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join our 5-doctor, AAHA-accredited general practice and emergency hospital.
Whether you’re an experienced DVM or a new graduate looking for a strong mentorship program, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a collaborative, hands-on setting with a diverse and exciting caseload.

About University Animal Clinic

Perfect for vets who thrive in a fast-paced, stimulating environment Our structured mentorship program ensures new graduates gain confidence and sharpen their skills Access to advanced diagnostics, surgical opportunities, and a diverse caseload to elevate your clinical expertise Our hospital features ultrasound capabilities and laser therapy for pain management and rehabilitation We also have a dedicated surgery suite, allowing for efficient and safe surgical procedures Our in-house laboratory is fully equipped, and we work closely with IDEXX for comprehensive referral testing when needed As an added benefit, employees are welcome to bring their pets to work, provided there is space available in our boarding facility
Skills And Basic Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth

Compensation
$90,000 - $120,000 base salary (depending on experience) This position is eligible for production-based bonuses Sign-on bonus opportunities
