We offer evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy and collaborate with payers to make care more affordable while supporting equity, affordability, and effectiveness.
About the Role Licensed Clinicians join a diverse clinical team to provide therapy in a collaborative, client-centered environment. You will treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies. Candidates must be licensed in Maryland at the master’s or doctoral level, experienced with evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT or DBT), and skilled in delivering culturally responsive care. You will work both in-person and remotely; an office space is required to start (in Maryland, Octave does not provide office space). You may see clients virtually or in-person from your own or a commercial office space.

Qualifications
LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, PsyD
Current License in Maryland
Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
Licensed and in good standing with the relevant licensing board
At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience
At least 2 years of experience preferred in one or more of the following areas:
CBT for depression or anxiety
DBT for emotion dysregulation
Unified Protocol for emotional distress
CPT or PE for trauma
Preferred to have own office space and be willing to provide in-person services in the Baltimore area

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Frequent use of virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet)
Ability to observe and communicate information via laptop
Move up to 10 pounds occasionally
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
System Requirements Minimum system requirements for Octave telehealth tools:
Mac OS (Ventura or later) or Windows OS (10/11) with latest security updates
Unmanaged device (not provided by another company/organization)
Note: iOS, Android, or ChromeOS not supported as primary devices
Compensation Starting pay is based on licensure, education, experience, location, and market needs. Salary ranges are as follows.
In-Person Rates:
$119-$133/hour for master’s level license
$119-$143/hour for doctoral level license
Virtual Rates:
$116-$130/hour for master’s level license
$116-$140/hour for doctoral level license
