Join the *RN Labor and Delivery* travel contract team at *Amergis Healthcare Staffing* in San Leandro, CA. This 13‑week assignment offers a high‑acuity, full‑time L&D experience with nightly shifts and competitive compensation. Responsibilities
The Labor and Delivery RN assumes responsibility for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the L&D setting. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, monitors mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitors the mother’s vital signs, and provides patient education and psychosocial support after delivery. The RN consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Minimum Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license in California One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred Current CPR certification if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential extensions) Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hrs/week) Facility Size: 216‑bed hospital with a 24/7 L&D unit located on the 3rd floor Contact
