is looking for experienced X-Ray Technologists to join our centers in the Greater Knoxville area.
About Urgent Team Urgent Team is one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. The Urgent Team Family of Centers provides quality and affordable family healthcare at more than 80 locations under eight brands. Our convenient, walk-in centers provide a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. Centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All centers are Accredited Care Centers – a designation from the Urgent Care Association recognizing our commitment to safety, quality, and scope of services.
Key Responsibilities Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures for patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to Area Manager or provider on duty. Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visit. Assume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources. Maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure.
What's Required High school diploma or equivalent. BLS Certification. TN State X-Ray License. ARRT Certification preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
