Position Responsibilities
Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied Provide technical solutions for aircraft production lines with high priority nonconformance stress analysis and engineering changes Works under general direction Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience working with stress analysis/structural analysis 5+ years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP, Hyperworks) Experience with Boeing Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation) Experience with design process specifications (Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization - MMPDS, Boeing Design Manuals - BDMs)
