Project Manager – K-12 Education Design Location: San Antonio, TX. Schedule: Full-time, Onsite. Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 + Annual Performance Bonus. Our San Antonio office is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong architectural foundation and a passion for educational design. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful projects that shape the learning environments of tomorrow’s students. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative setting, values purposeful design, and brings proven experience managing K-12 education projects from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of K-12 architectural projects, from programming and design development through construction administration and closeout. Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with school districts and education partners. Coordinate and direct internal project teams and external consultants to ensure design excellence, schedule adherence, and quality control. Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation in alignment with client and firm goals. Guide design teams in developing creative, sustainable, and functional solutions that enhance the learning environment. Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and educational facility standards. Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to a culture of professional growth and collaboration. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program. 8+ years of professional experience in architecture, including at least 4 years dedicated to K-12 education design and project management. Licensed Architect in Texas (preferred) or actively pursuing licensure. Proven track record managing architectural projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining client satisfaction. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, project scheduling, and financial management. Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Must come from the architecture side – GC or construction-only experience will not be considered. Why Join Us
