As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support the production of critical aerospace products. You will optimize manufacturing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality within the assigned production cell.
Key Responsibilities
Validate and disposition defects from rejected products or customer returns.
Ensure roll throughput yield (RTY) targets are met and stable.
Implement systemic solutions (mistake proofing tools, process improvements, visual training) to prevent internal defects.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and resolve manufacturing issues across assembly, test, and inspection.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
Develop and maintain productivity labor standards for operational technicians.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or asylum/refugee status required by U.S. export control laws.
Experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or aerospace manufacturing.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Location : Tempe, AZ – 100% on‑site work schedule.
