The Opportunity: Drive a Culture of Environmental Excellence As the Regional Environmental Advisor, you will be the strategic linchpin between corporate environmental vision and operational reality. You will serve as the trusted authority and hands‑on leader for thirteen manufacturing sites, championing a culture of continuous improvement and proactive compliance. Half your time will be spent on‑site, coaching teams and driving initiatives, while the other half will be based at the Cordova office, focusing on strategy and regulatory guidance.

Your mission will be to:

Serve as a Strategic Advisor:

Guide divisional leaders on environmental priorities, translating complex regulations and technical data into actionable, business‑savvy strategies.

Champion Best Practices:

Lead incident investigations, uncover root causes, and share learnings across the enterprise to prevent future issues and elevate performance.

Influence and Educate:

Develop and deliver high‑impact training, mentoring new environmental staff and enhancing the environmental acumen across all operational teams.

Drive Proactive Compliance:

Monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory changes, ensuring thirteen divisions not only meet but exceed standards for air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, and waste management.

Forge Enterprise‑Wide Consistency:

Promote the uniform application of the Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring alignment and operational excellence across the entire region.

What You Bring to the Table You are a results‑oriented environmental professional with the ambition to grow and the expertise to lead. You thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and possess the unique ability to influence and build relationships from the plant floor to the leadership team.

Core Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 3 years of hands‑on environmental program management experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Deep expertise in federal, state, and local environmental regulations (air, water, waste).

Proven experience with Environmental Management Systems (e.g., ISO 14001) and internal audit frameworks.

Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with a talent for managing multiple high‑stakes priorities.

Proficiency with systems like MS Suite, Intelex, Historian, or Data Logger.
