Lead packaging projects for medical devices (new products and sustaining products). Capture product and packaging requirements for packaging and labeling. Design and test packages that meet internal requirements and comply with ISO 11607. Designs, develops, and tests a wide variety of containers used for protection, display, and handling of products. Determine packaging specifications based on product, cost, legal requirements, and protection needs, considering external factors such as moisture, chemicals, temperature, light, handling, and tampering. Design package exteriors considering product identification, sales appeal, aesthetics, printing, and production techniques. Support documentation management and coordination of GMPs; may support prototype line development in manufacturing facilities. Career Path

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects and collaborates with stakeholders. May act as a mentor. Qualifications

Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience. Physical Job Requirements

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): $120,800.00 - $181,200.00. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Benefits available to regular employees working 20+ hours per week include health, dental, vision, HSA/Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, life insurance, disability leave, dependent care spending account, tuition assistance, and well-being programs.
