We are seeking a compassionate and driven Emergency Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As an ER Veterinarian, you will play a key role in managing critical and urgent care cases, working alongside a committed and well-trained team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency medicine and a dedication to providing the best care possible for our patients. Experience in emergency care is not a requirement, as we provide strong mentorship and ongoing training for those eager to grow their skills in this area. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Perform thorough physical exams, diagnostic tests, and imaging to assess the severity of patient conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions as needed. Work collaboratively with the veterinary team and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each patient. Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations in a compassionate and clear manner. Ensure proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of all medical procedures and treatments. Stay current with advances in emergency medicine and participate in continuous education opportunities. Work swing and overnight shifts. Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Current DEA License or obtained upon hire Active Veterinary State License USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire Why Join Us
