Medical Surgical Trauma Nurse

Responsibilities As a Charge Nurse at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Responsibilities: Serve as a leader and teammate Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to patients Maintain high engagement on the floor by connecting with nurses, patients, and families Attend leadership meetings to learn about new initiatives and share information with your team Monitor productivity and efficiency of your department Mentor team members, sharing your knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others Dignity Health offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days, providing debt relief and student loan assistance. Qualifications Minimum: Two (2) years RN experience in an applicable clinical specialty ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent Current AZ State RN license in good standing Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card ACLS obtained within six months of hire Preferred: BSN Charge Nurse experience Previous experience with computers Overview Hello Humankindness Chandler, Arizona, has a stable suburban population with an economy anchored by large financial and high-tech companies.
