Shift Details : Full-time (40 Hours), Monday – Friday Days, 8:00 to 5:00 Unit/Location : East Crossroads - Orthopedics and Podiatry As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care. Role : As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by: Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films. Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures. Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units. Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures. Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone. Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; ensure preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contact outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines. Promote effective working relations and work as part of a department/unit team to meet goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current license/certification in the state of practice Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association Physical Requirements

Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking. Location

40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
