Ochsner Children’s Congenital Heart Center at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a BC/BE cardiologist specializing in Adult Congenual Heart Disease (ACHD). The candidate would work with two congenital heart surgeons, four ACHD board-certified pediatric cardiologists, an ACHD physician assistant, and an ACHD nurse coordinator to provide direct patient care in a large group practice setting, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in clinical research programs. The center is expanding its ACHD program which was founded in 2005 and is ACCA-accredited. Responsibilities

Ochsner Children’s comprises more than 85 primary care pediatricians and over 290 pediatric subspecialists across 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi. We provide a full range of complex services including congenital heart surgery and transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, advanced GI and hepatology, hematology-oncology and AYA oncology, and a broad surgical subspecialty group including Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Surgery and advanced spine surgery. The hospital includes a 67-bed Level IV NICU, 14-bed PICU, 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, NAEC-accredited Level IV, 4-bed Pediatric EMU, and a 44-bed Pediatric Acute Care unit with a dedicated pediatric emergency room and 24-7 pediatric and neonatal transport capabilities. We are constructing a new 5-story Children’s Hospital on our main campus with an expected opening in early 2028. Ochsner Children’s Hospital operates a ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and collaborates with Tulane-Ochsner and other medical schools. We are developing plans for a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship. Our faculty conducts extensive research and participates in multi-center trials. Qualifications
