0.750 Shift:

Shift 3, Thursday through Saturday, 2100-0700 Weekend Program +15% of base pay! This position is eligible for

$4.50 department/position differentials

plus additional qualifying shift differentials. Eligible for a

Fast-Paced Environment: Trauma centers often deal with critical, time-sensitive situations, requiring X-ray techs to work quickly and efficiently to obtain high-quality images for immediate diagnosis. Variety of Cases: Techs encounter a wide range of injuries, from fractures to life-threatening trauma, offering diverse challenges. Collaboration with Medical Teams: Work closely with ER doctors, trauma surgeons, and other healthcare professionals for rapid assessment and imaging. Exposure to Advanced Imaging Techniques: Use specialized imaging equipment, sometimes in real-time procedures like surgeries or emergency interventions. Diverse Adult Patient Population: Serve patients of all ages, requiring flexibility in imaging protocols and patient care. On-the-Job Learning: Gain hands-on experience with complex cases, expanding your skills rapidly. Job Summary: Under the direction of radiologists or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures, operating imaging equipment, adhering to safety and organizational standards, and providing effective communication with patients and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience: One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of experience. Education: Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Additional college coursework or a healthcare-related degree is preferred but not required. Special Skills: Self-motivated, well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize, especially in emergencies. Licensure: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current WI Radiographer license required. BLS certification from AHA or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
