Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is a full service county hospital offering a complete array of patient-centered health care services. Since 2008, CCRMC has provided a full range of psychiatric services including Inpatient, PES, Consult Liaison, Detention Facility, and Outpatient Behavioral Health. Responsibilities

Adult Services 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 60-minute Intake appointments 30-minute Follow-up appointments Manageable caseloads of ~200 per FTE Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) modalities such as buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, and others Provide medication management and monitoring for patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders, including titration and adjustment of medications as needed Offer evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to support patients in their recovery journey, including CBT, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies Address co-occurring mental health concerns through integrated treatment approaches, collaborating closely with mental health professionals Provide Specialty Mental Health Services for individuals with complex needs, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care Participate in multidisciplinary treatment meetings to ensure coordinated and holistic care, including collaboration with addiction counselors, social workers, and medical providers Stay current with advancements in substance use disorder treatment and co-occurring mental health treatment through ongoing education and professional development EPIC EMR Staff includes clerks, lead Psychiatrist, program manager, Clinical Social Workers, AOD clinicians, and therapists Benefits
