Supports the research and development team by preparing, testing, and evaluating coating formulations. This position requires hands-on lab work, independent experiment execution, and accurate documentation of results, while maintaining a safe and efficient lab environment. Prepare and evaluate coating formulations (electro-coat, primer, topcoat, clear coat) using mixing and spray equipment Train on and operate application equipment to spray test substrates Conduct lab testing and accurately record results Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with research team to resolve discrepancies Maintain and calibrate lab equipment as needed Monitor and manage inventory of chemicals and supplies Ensure safe handling, labeling, and disposal of chemical materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace Contribute to workflow planning and experiment design Summarize findings and communicate using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams) Skills

Strong interest in hands-on lab work and product formulation Comfortable working with hazardous materials in a lab environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting Ability to work independently and in a team setting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Education

Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field Equivalent industrial laboratory experience may be considered
