Lovell Animal Hospital provides personalized care for cats, dogs, and certain pocket pets. Our patient-centric approach drives everything we do, so we strive every day to exceed our client’s expectations with thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate pet care. We primarily treat cats and dogs and have a special place in our hearts for guinea pigs and rabbits. We are excited to add another veterinarian to our awesome team at Heartland Veterinary Partners. Our 2-doctor veterinary team is supported by experienced technicians, assistants, and CSRs. The practice is equipped with digital radiology, in-house labs, ultrasound, laser therapies, and more to provide top-of-the-line medicine daily. We welcome an experienced associate veterinarian ready to help take on our growing patient list and ongoing surgical caseload. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples; interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end-of-life care. Maintain patients’ medical records. Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; with assistance for heavier lifting. Benefits
