Perform technical procedures for Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including patient preparation, assisting physicians, hemodynamic monitoring, and first assisting. Accurately complete required documentation for procedures. Work may involve extended periods requiring detailed knowledge and attention to critical patient parameters, requiring immediate and accurate decision-making. Provide 24-hour On Call Service as first assistant. Requirements:

AS in Radiology (ARRT and NYS Radiologic License) or Respiratory Therapy (Registered Respiratory Therapist) -or- Formal CVT training program graduate with RCIS -or- Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS credentials -or- After completing 200 cardiac/vascular procedures, a CVT II may sit for benchmark testing with recommendation from Cath Lab medical director and manager. A score of 85% will be accepted in place of the above education requirements. -and- BLS Certification within 30 days. -and- Successful completion of Basic EKG interpretation within 90 days of orientation. -and- ACLS certification within 30 days. Pay Range:

$35.00 - $50.26 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location. Our Commitment
