Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Position Details: (Emergency Medicine)
1.0 FTE (0.8 Clinical + 0.2 Administrative) 96 Clinical Hours a Month Opportunity to Work With Medical Students and Residents APP Coverage During Peak Hours EPIC EMR Volume/Trauma Level Varies by Hospital Competitive Compensation & Benefits Package
Medical Directorship responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to) the following:
Serve as the leader of the physician and APP’s staffing the campus Emergency Department. Serve as the point of contact for all other departments to communicate and collaborate with on quality, operational efficiency, patient experience, EMS relationships, quality programs and certifications, and other parties that interact with the Emergency Department. Responsible for leading the clinician team to improve operational metrics and patient experience scores. Create the clinical schedule 60 days prior to the start of the month and enter and publish the schedule in the electronic scheduling software. Serve as the Emergency Medicine representative on the campus when attending meetings, committees or addressing concerns within the campus. Work to maintain positive and educational relationships with local and surrounding EMS communities.
