Qualifications

Masters degree in OT or related field Valid state licensure as an OT Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly K-12 Strong understanding of IEPs and therapeutic interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop appropriate treatment plans Implement therapeutic activities that promote fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and sensory integration Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create comprehensive support strategies Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs
