Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a BC/BE pulmonary and critical care medicine physician to join our clinical and faculty team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a full-time opportunity to join an established team of employed pulmonary and critical care physicians. Here, you can utilize your clinical expertise to help identify treatments for patients with all aspects of respiratory disease, including interstitial diseases, vascular disease, medical and cardiac critical care, sleep disorders, etc. You will have the full support of a pulmonary/respiratory team working in close coordination with comprehensive cardiovascular and oncologic programs within the medical center. Working at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center — an academic affiliated hospital and regional referral center — you will have ample opportunities to teach through an academic appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University School of Medicine and provide training for students, residents and fellows who round through the pulmonary and critical care program. Responsibilities
Join an established team of employed pulmonary and critical care physicians and provide patient care across the spectrum of respiratory diseases. Identify treatments for patients with interstitial diseases, vascular disease, medical and cardiac critical care, sleep disorders, and related conditions. Collaborate with a pulmonary/respiratory team and coordinate with cardiovascular and oncologic programs within the medical center. Teach and participate in academic activities through appointments with affiliated medical schools; mentor students, residents and fellows in the pulmonary and critical care program. Qualifications
Board-certified or eligible in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Experience with interstitial lung disease is preferred. About the Location
