Overview The Department of Epidemiology seeks a Biostatistician to manage and analyze complex multicenter longitudinal data for a national child health study.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Use and expand SAS and R programs to clean and organize incoming data.

Identify data issues and collaborate with data managers to resolve them.

Read concept sheets and draft statistical analysis plans.

Generate analytic data sets, codebooks, and documentation.

Analyze individual-level data to answer research questions.

Prepare data tables and figures for publication and scientific meetings.

Contribute to technical/scientific writing and review drafts for manuscripts.

Document decision-making and archive code for reproducibility.

Maintain a transparent research workspace and assist with proposal writing.

Attend bi‑weekly staff meetings and provide status updates.

Use professional judgment in handling sensitive information.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative field.

Knowledge of R.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience analyzing longitudinal data in a research study.

Experience with advanced methods (e.g., multiple imputation, propensity scores, geospatial analyses, omics or non‑omics).
