About the Program: Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)
MCRT is a
24/7 first-of-its-kind crisis response program
serving people of all ages in San Joaquin County. Instead of defaulting to emergency rooms or law enforcement, our teams meet people where they are — in the community, in the moment of need.
From the mobile crisis van, you and your team will deliver:
Crisis triage and risk assessments In-person interventions and stabilization Collaborative support with ACL (Access & Crisis Line) and law enforcement Ongoing case management and connections to care This is your opportunity to

The Role: Team Lead
As an MCRT Team Lead, you’ll be the steady hand guiding a multidisciplinary team in the field. You’ll: Lead crisis responses across the county, stepping in with empathy and clinical expertise Support individuals and families in their most vulnerable moments Collaborate with first responders, clinicians, and peer specialists Provide assessments, interventions, referrals, and aftercare planning Mentor and supervise team members, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care Keep the team aligned, supported, and growing professionally This is leadership in action — not from behind a desk, but
side by side in the field.
Shifts Available AM Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Sun–Tue + bi-weekly Wed 11 AM–7 PM PM Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM: Sun–Tue + bi-weekly Wed 11 PM–7 AM Compensation : $106,727 – $131,851 (plus shift differentials & sign-on bonus).
Pay is location-based & commensurate with experience.

Master’s in Social Work or related field Current CA BBS licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) 2+ years’ experience in crisis management & mental health Supervisory experience (or training within 6 months) A valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle Certification (or ability within 60 days) in CPR, CPI, and First Aid Heart, resilience, and a drive to lead with purpose Preferred Skills Experience in outpatient or community mental health Familiarity with intensive case management or psychiatric rehabilitation 2+ years of supervisory experience post-master’s Telecare is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE AA M/F/V/Disability). #J-18808-Ljbffr
