Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is licensed by the State of Maryland through a national examination for the practice of nursing. The RN is prepared for competent practice at the beginning level upon graduation from an approved school of nursing. The RN assumes primary responsibility and accountability for the delivery of all patient care.

Position Details

Med/Surg Oncology

24 hours/week

12-hour shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Education/Experience

BSN preferred.

RN without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months and complete it within 4 years of starting.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state allowing practice in Maryland.

CPR required.

ACLS required for departments such as Labor and Delivery, ICU, ED, PACU, IMC, Short Stay, Cardiac Catheterization, Endoscopy, Cardiac Rehab, Infusion Services, Pulmonary Function.

Salary Range: $36.05 - $56.18 per hour, commensurate with experience and role scope. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening if the range is not specified.
