Our ER Veterinary Mentorship Program is specifically designed for new or recently graduated veterinarians eager to develop their skills in emergency veterinary medicine! No prior ER experience is required — just a passion for learning and diving into this exciting field. This program is a unique opportunity for veterinarians seeking professional growth and mentorship. Tailored Mentorship:

Flexible 3, 6, and 12-month initiatives designed to meet your pace and goals. Scheduling typically consists of three 12-hour shifts per week. Hands-On Experience:

Work alongside our emergency, surgery, and critical care teams in examination rooms and with independent workups. Access to Advanced Training Opportunities:

Global FAST Scan Ultrasound 3-Day Spay & Neuter Training Guaranteed attendance to IVECCS during the year of your program

Diverse Caseload:

Gain clinical autonomy and manage cases not commonly encountered in other hospital settings. Surgical Opportunities:

Assist in surgeries by scrubbing in and providing support. Electively observe or participate in specific procedures by being on-call for surgeries. State-of-the-Art Facility:

The most up-to-date equipment including Snyder oxygen cage, canine and feline transfusions, Liga-Sur, PoliPhase sealant, and GIA stapler A team of Specialists in Oncology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine, a cohesive group of seven (and counting) Emergency Clinicians, and a skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff 4 to 1 Veterinary Technician to DVM Ratio 24-hour monitoring care Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Isolation ward Cure for Cats Thyroid Treatment Center A cohesive group of experts that values teamwork and client experience A nurturing work atmosphere with ongoing training and development

Our ideal candidate:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent Passionate about practicing outstanding medicine but also building and fostering a strong team Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

Benefits:

Compensation of $85k - 125k while participating in program - upon completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to earn up to $125k - $150k base salary plus production (negotiable) with an earning potential of $200k+ Paid time off Professional Liability, Business, and Personal Insurance (PLIT) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan and 2% company match CE Allowance ($2,500 a year and days of CE specific PTO for Full-Time Veterinarians) We pay 100% of Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and State Licensure Fees Seniority level
