Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Critical Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Los Angeles, CA, paying $105/hour - $120/hour. Start date: 11-03-25. Length: 36 weeks. Position: Nurse Practitioner; Specialty: Critical Care Pediatric. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions. Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices. Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. Document patient care accurately and thoroughly. Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Nurse Practitioner specialty (e.g., pediatrics). Active and unencumbered California APRN license. National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., AANP). Typically at least 1 year of clinical experience in a related setting (varies by assignment). Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and procedures relevant to pediatric critical care. Schedule & Location
