The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic tools including:

On-site CT imaging

Flexible and rigid endoscopy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber

Digital radiography and ultrasound

Comprehensive in-house laboratory

The hospital maintains a collaborative, team-driven environment with a highly experienced group of Emergency Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs). With strong clinical leadership, structured onboarding, and continuous mentorship, this is an ideal setting for experienced clinicians or those newer to emergency medicine who are eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and timely emergency and critical care

Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute and complex cases

Collaborate with specialty teams and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care

Participate in continuous improvement of hospital protocols and practices

Contribute to a culture of learning, teamwork, and professional excellence

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $250,000 – $450,000 Pro-Sal

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution

Active or eligible licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia

Successful completion of the NAVLE

Authorization to work in the United States

Emergency experience is preferred, but internship-trained doctors with a strong interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply.
