Weekly Travel Rate up to $1,706 - $3,081 Department: Ascension Travel program - Cath Lab Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 40 hours per week Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals Location: Local and national travel options are available depending on need
This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13 week assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Ability to extend as needed. Benefited positions available, rate changes will apply.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. Perform set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s)
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s)
Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
Additional Preferences
RN with 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience strongly preferred. Local and national travel options are available dependent on need. Candidates are stipend eligible for sites over 50+ miles from their permanent residence. Partner with Recruitment to learn more.
