Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, medical-record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc. Fill medications, enter charges and maintain accurate medical records; schedule appointments. Create patient releases, navigate client conversations about treatment plans and financial obligations. Prep patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing and positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs. Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Open, turn over and clean operating rooms, and clean instruments and wrap packs. Qualifications
State Licensed Veterinary Technician license required. Prior veterinary experience required; prior surgery experience preferred. Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.). Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Perks and Benefits
