Summary The Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Children's Hospital in San Antonio is seeking an outstanding pediatric epileptologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational and leadership skills, participate in educational and research programs, and represent the division in the community and nationally. Experience in epilepsy surgery or a willingness to learn is preferred. Our established programs include a multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment program for children with epilepsy, autism, and neuromuscular disorders. We are especially interested in candidates with interests in expanding our Epilepsy Programs, Neurocutaneous clinics, and related areas. The division comprises seven board-certified pediatric neurologists, including two epileptologists, and four full-time APPs. Current programs include a 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, neurodevelopmental services, ketogenic diet, neuromuscular disorders, and a Pediatric Rehab/PM&R inpatient unit. Job Duties Primary responsibilities include outpatient clinics, shared inpatient rotations with call, trainee education, and clinical research. The Voelcker Clinical Research Center supports faculty involved in research. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree, be BE/BC in Pediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology or Epilepsy, and hold or be eligible for a Texas medical license.
