We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals experiencing acute medical conditions. This role requires proficiency in various emergency procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
As a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Regions Hospital, you'll find yourself in a fast-paced environment with over 100,000 ED visits per year. The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care including obtaining histories, examining patients, ordering appropriate labs and X-rays, performing minor procedures, discussing treatment plans and following up with patients and their families. This role will work at Lakeview Hospital (Level III Trauma Center) and Hudson Hospital (Level IV Trauma Center).

Work Schedule : Days/evenings/nights, including weekdays and weekends.
Required Qualifications :
Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
Physician Assistant certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Current Minnesota and Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure.
ACLS/ATLS.
DEA eligibility (verified during credentialing).
Preferred Qualifications :
Three years of experience in ED/Emergency Medicine or urgent care.
PALS.
Advanced training in Emergency Medicine.
This is a non-union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day/evening/night position working in Saint Paul, MN, Stillwater, MN, and Hudson, WI. The full salary range for this position is $139,900.80-$149,489.60 annually, based on experience, plus shift differentials. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
