We are currently seeking a
Full Time Case Worker
for our
Supportive Assistance for Individuals and Families (SAIF) program
located in
Newark, New Jersey . The SAIF program’s aim is to reduce dependency on welfare by promoting self-sufficiency for individuals who have received welfare benefits for more than 48 months. Job Duties The Case Worker monitors their caseload; completes monthly state reports; completes monthly caseload lists; maintains case records; and completes assessments to identify barriers as well provide career counseling The Case worker will also complete intakes on a weekly basis and build networks with employers for jobs and workshops for clients. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree (preferably Social Work, Sociology or Psychology field) 1 to 2 years experience in the social services field Valid driver's license.
