Overview
ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner role at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. in the Community Based division. Mental Health Practitioners provide community-based rehabilitative services to clients ages 18+. This is a great opportunity to work with clients in their homes, where they are most comfortable. Responsibilities
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or their families (if working with children) in the home, community, and/or school Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units Participate in professional development and licensure tracks as applicable Benefits

Meet the Mental Health Practitioner requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.04, including: Hold a Master's degree or other graduate degree in a behavioral sciences or related field Hold a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral sciences or related field with 2,000 hours of supervised experience in delivering mental health services to people with mental illness Candidates with practicum/internship focused on behavioral sciences may qualify even if they do not have 2,000 hours Have 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to people with mental illness Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06: completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare for independent licensure as a mental health professional Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.02: Licensed as LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota Additionally, you must meet the following requirements: Desire to work with children and families and/or adults in their homes; ability to walk, climb stairs, crouch, stoop, sit on floors, and stand for periods of time Ability to work independently; valid driver’s license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle; ability to drive within a 30-mile radius around the primary clinic location Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) If interested in working with adults, ability to meet with them during general daytime hours Location information and other job postings have been removed to focus on the role’s core responsibilities and requirements.
