Radiation Therapist
Full‑time position in the Radiation Oncology department at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Job Summary Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed, including simulation, dose calculations, and daily patient care.
Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments on a daily basis.
Maintain accurate daily treatment records, including dosages and calculations.
Perform patient simulation, contouring, and dose calculations.
Support the radiation oncologist with brachytherapy procedures.
Coordinate patient schedules and communicate with families and hospital personnel.
Monitor patient condition and progress daily (weight, skin care, reactions).
Assist in clinical QA activities, new patient conferences, tumor board, and QRM.
Provide supervision to students and trainees as required.
Work an 80‑hour pay unit schedule, with on‑call weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Registered Radiation Therapist).
ARRT certification and licensed to practice in Ohio.
BLS certification.
Valid Ohio driver’s license.
Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
Schedule Mon‑Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; 40 hours per week.
