Ennoble Care is a mobile primary care, palliative care, and hospice service provider with patients in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, DC, Virginia, Oklahoma, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. We seek individuals who are driven to make a difference and embody our motto, “To Care is an Honor.” Join the Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse (Burlington/ Camden County NJ) role to provide care and support to terminally ill patients in New Jersey. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge in caring for the terminally ill, including administering medications and providing emotional support, is expected, with the goal of helping patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care
Triage phone calls
Make visits to the patient as needed to evaluate their condition
Provide support and comfort according to individual patient needs
Work with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care
Assist in administering medication
Alleviate sudden symptoms of the end-of-life phase
Notify a doctor for a patient’s condition when necessary
Assist patients and their families with paperwork
Maintain accurate records
Provide post-mortem support to families as appropriate
About You
A valid RN license to practice within the State of NJ
Proven experience as a hospice nurse or registered nurse
Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effects
Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards
Sound judgment and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; bilingual is a plus
Compassionate and patient with emotional stability
